Light and roomy for two plus gear

This is a great tent for backpacking. I and my son took it out for a four day hike on the Pacific Northwest beaches in February and it kept constant rain completely at bay. Exiting and entering the tent was easy, and setup was straight forward and takes about six or seven minutes. I used, and would recommend, a footprint because the floor of the tent seems pretty insubstantial....

Great tent but pne BIG flaw

Thought this would be the perfect tent. However, unlike the photos (which come from Big Agnes, not Campsaver), the back wall is not nylon tent material. It is all mesh down to the water tub floor. So cold wind, splattering water in a heavy rain, or blowing dust/dirt will come right in. Rain fly lifts up so that rear mesh panel is even more exposed. Everything else about the ten...

I had heard a lot about this particular tent, so I purchased one to replace a heavier 2 person tent.
